I build the tools nobody handed me, and I care what they look like.
Three Doors
What I've built so far.
The first two are free and they stay free. The third I sell, because it took months I couldn't work. And it's completely fine to take a free one and go.

You're Still Here
For the woman with chronic illness and the people reading next to her. Not advice, and not a plan. The thing I wanted someone to hand me around the point where I'd stopped being able to explain myself.

Chronic Illness Resources
Disability benefits, insurance appeals, housing, prescription costs, legal aid, grief, and the numbers to call on a bad night. All of it already existed. Nobody was ever going to go find it for me, so I found it and wrote it down.

The Doctor File & The Medical Binder
The Doctor File is how I get an appointment to go the way it needs to go. What to write down before I walk in, how to say the thing so it lands in the notes instead of the air, and what to do when it doesn't. I spent about twenty years selling cars, travel, college enrollment and donations, which is twenty years of sitting across from somebody who could tell me no. An exam room runs on the same rules. Nobody tells you that.
The Medical Binder is where all of it lives. Care team, medications, symptoms, function, discharge notes, the accommodations script. Fillable on a screen if typing is easier on your hands than writing, printable if it isn't. It had to work on the days I couldn't remember anything and on the days I couldn't move much, and almost nothing I tried first passed both.
Ugly isn't neutral. But nobody sat down and decided you wouldn't mind. Nobody pictured you at all, and that's the same failure that kept a name off my migraines for fourteen years.

Where the next thing lands first. An old Chicago two-flat I'm rebuilding around a body that doesn't cooperate, and honest calls on the objects nobody bothered to design well, including the ones I sent back. I send it when I actually have something worth saying. No drip funnels. No schedule.
